Eurasier Walk in Wesel

On the day following St. Nicholas Day, 30 Eurasiers met in the Lower Rhine area in Wesel. Lovely winter weather with temperatures slightly below zero greeted 1 adorable Wolfsspitz-cross and many Eurasier friends on their traditional Advent-time walk.

The people came from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, the Eurasiers came from three different Clubs, at least - but that did not matter at all. The people were happy to see each other again or meet new people (most people have been coming regularly for many years); the dogs thought that "being in a pack" was just great. Although Eurasier males were slightly in the majority, there were no major problems on the parking lot and of course not during the walk - which is typical for Eurasiers. After the walk, the humans were happy for the warm guest room where hot coffee and delicious cake or sandwiches were served. The dogs either stayed in the cars or could hardly be noticed in the Cafe as they lay quietly and calmly on the floor, just as it should be. Around 5 p.m. the first people left, but not without arranging their next meeting on the first Sunday in March 2004 at the same place.
